Don’t let this camp slip through your fingers! No pun intended. uHandbit is a programmable robotic arm powered by micro:bit. It can be controlled via a PC or mobile phone App, with graphical programming support.
Students will learn micro:bit’s programming environment where they can you use the block editor and JavaScript to program more efficiently.
Throughout this camp student will learn how to program their robotic hand to perform different tasks such as object grabbing/placing based on color or shape, finger counting and hand movements based on sound or other parameters, gesture control and many more amazing tasks, giving them a taste of what real humanoid robotics is all about.
uHandbit is compatible with micro:bit modules and sensors, making the learning possibilities endless.
A brand new uHandbit Programmable Robotic Hand (MSRP:$179.99) and a BBC micro:bit v2 (MSRP:$39.99) are included for the student to keep after camp.

Time: Daily 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

Extended care is available at no additional cost: 7:30 am – 9:00 am and 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm.
