Battle Royale Robotics Camp
Get ready for action-packed excitement in the Battle Royale Robotics Camp! Campers will build and program their own robots to compete in thrilling, high-energy challenges. From navigating obstacle courses to participating in head-to-head robot battles, this camp is perfect for kids who love competition and teamwork. Train Your DragonBot
Unleash your inner dragon trainer in this imaginative robotics camp. Campers will create and program dragon-themed robots that roar, move, and even perform mythical tasks! This camp is all about blending creativity with robotics to bring legendary creatures to life. Highlights: Build dragon-inspired robots with unique features. Program robots to perform tasks like “flying” or breathing fire (virtually!). Explore storytelling and robotics in one exciting package. Minecraft Block Bots

Pokémon Robotics Adventure
Calling all Pokémon Trainers! In this unique camp, kids will build and program robots inspired by their favorite Pokémon. Whether it’s Pikachu, Rillaboom, or Scorupi, campers can create their dream Pokémon and send it on exciting adventures! Highlights: Design Pokémon-themed robots with customized features. Retro Game Developer Camp
Travel back in time and rediscover the joy of retro gaming! In this camp, kids will design, code, and build their own retro-style video games and controllers, while learning the fundamentals of game development and electronics. Highlights: Create pixelated games inspired by classics like Space Invaders and Pac-Man. Learn coding and game design principles. Inventors' Lab STEAM Summer Camp

Everything you need to know about the Code4Bots After-School program!
What is the Code4Bots after-school program?
The Code4Bots after-school program introduces children to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) through hands-on robotics and coding activities. Kids design, build, and program robots while developing problem-solving, teamwork, and creativity skills.
Who can join the program?
The program is designed for elementary school students who are curious about robotics, coding, and STEM concepts. No prior experience is required!
What age groups can participate?
The program is suitable for kids aged 6 to 12, or students in grades 1st through 5th, with activities tailored to their skill levels and interests.
Where and when does the program take place?
The program is held at participating Comal Independent School District Elementary schools. Sessions are typically scheduled after school hours. The program runs once a week after school. Each session is approximately 1 hour long and run for 5 to 6 weeks. Check the Code4Bots After School Programs page for specific locations and times.
What will my child learn?

Participants will:

  • Build and program robots using award-winning kits.
  • Explore visual programming and coding languages.
  • Develop structural design and engineering skills.
How much does it cost?

Tuition fees vary depending on the session and duration. Robotics kits are not included in the registration fee but can be purchased separately. Visit the Supply Fee page for details.

What materials are provided?

Code4Bots provides all necessary robotics kits and software for in-class use. If you wish to purchase a kit for home use, you can pre-order it through our website by visiting the CISD SUPPLY FEE. page.

How do I register my child?

You can register online through the Code4Bots website (links to open sessions are provided in the After School Programs page, or by visiting Eleyo. Spaces are limited, so early registration is recommended.

Who teaches the classes?

Classes are led by experienced instructors who specialize in robotics, coding, and STEM education. They ensure a fun and engaging learning environment for all students. All instructors have gone through CISD rigurous background checks.

Can my child join mid-session?

Enrollment policies are very strict. Students must be enrolled 2 working days prior to session start. No registrations will be accepted after this timeline. Contact Code4Bots or CISD Community Education department directly to inquire about availability.

What happens if my child misses a class?

Make-up classes unfortunatley are not available. However, your child will receive the hand-out for any missed classes upon their return..

Are refunds available in case of withdrawal?
Refund policies vary but are generally outlined at registration. Please contact the CISD Community Education and Programs office at (830) 221-2668 for details.
Are parents allowed to attend or observe classes?

No, parents are unfortunately not allowed to enter school grounds due to CISD school saftey policies.
