Get creatrive get connected, get coding!
The BBC micro:bit is a pocket-sized computer designed to inspire every child to create their best digital future. The micro:bit device is a multi-functional tool that works in lots of different ways when programmed to do so.
Children are encouraged to explore their ideas while using real code and real computational thinking – as a tool, it makes coding fun.Use a mini-computer to create fun projects in our Micro:bit Explorer Camp! Students can program their microcomputer to do everything from blink to turn it into a musical instrument and make a game. This is great exposure to programming in a new and fun way. By the end of the camp studens will better understand electronics concepts through handling the micro:bit independently, or with external sensors and while building practical, hands-on electronics projects.
Furthermore, campers will be well-equipped and hopefully inspired to make many more projects on the micro:bit at home.
