CAGE FIGHT BOTS

Let the cage battle begin! Calling all combat masters. Campers learn to design and build their own motorized battle robots. Using principles of simple and complex machines, gearing, and mechanical advantage, students will try to flip, push, pull or smash their opponent’s battle robot. Students learn the use of mechanical lifts, drills, ramps and more to disable or overcome other bots. Students will build and program LEGO® Mindstorms robots to compete in the Code4Bots Cage Fighting Bots championship! The robots will battle in a caged ring against one another in tasks such as sumo-wrestling, tug-o-war, head-to-head combat, and much more. Campers will put their skills to the test and see who can build the best cage fighting bot and the designer of the “last robot standing” for each round will be the winner.
