Fasten your seat belts! Flight Control Camp provides students with a variety of opportunities to learn about aviation and the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics of aeronautics. Students will build and program robots to perform specific tasks such as robotic catapults, like the ones used in medieval times, then fast forward in time to build and code robotic catapults like the ones used on modern aircraft carriers. In this camp we will also build, test and fly model gliders, kites and airplanes. We then add some drone flying to the mix, where campers are introduced to basic flight mechanics and aerodynamic principles to understand how to code and fly a drone. Now you have the formula for a super fun week at summer camp.
Your camper will keep their drone and controller after camp (MSRP $199).
