SPACE EXPLORER

While at Outer Space Camp, students will engage in a variety of different science experiments and learn about space exploration. We incorporate robotics and coding to make this a perfect full-day, hands-on, minds-on camp.
Three! Two! One! BLAST OFF! Interested in space travel? Work and play like an astronaut. The Voyage starts on planet Earth where students will learn about gravity, relativity and the solar system. We then launch into outer space as students build and launch their own rocket ship, make a short pit stop at the International Space Station and learn about mass vs weight as they compete in our space robot challenges. Once ready, students will build and code a rover vehicle that they will land on far away planets and program it to report its findings back to planet Earth.
Students will participate in a field trip to Camp Bullis Park on the last day of camp to launch their model rockets.
